On November 10, 2023, Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) organized "Annual Business Conference 2023". This is a series of annual programs to meet, exchange information, and share corporate governance experiences between the business community listed and registered for trading with management agencies and market operators. This program received the attention and participation of nearly 400 business leaders.
Evaluating listing and trading registration activities on HNX in 2023, HNX assesses that the scale of the listed and registered trading market will continue to grow. As of October 31 2023, the market listed on HNX has 329 stock codes with a total capitalization value of VND 304 trillion, an increase of 20.6% compared to the end of 2022, 71 bond codes listed on HNX. HNX with total listed bond value calculated at par value reaching VND 68.6 trillion. UPCoM has 860 enterprises with a total capitalization of VND 1,001 trillion, an increase of approximately 5% compared to the end of 2022. In the first 10 months of 2023, there were 52 listed enterprises and 59 enterprises registered to trade on HNX. Successfully mobilized VND 21.4 trillion at par value through issuing shares on the stock market.
At the conference, HNX announced the large-scale UPCoM enterprises with the best information disclosure & transparency in 2022-2023 and the listed enterprises with the best corporate governance in 2022-2023 to honor and spread the efforts of these businesses in implementing information disclosure regulations and corporate governance practices.
